KAREN KATZ is a multi-award winning television executive producer, development executive and showrunner. She has a proven track record in competition, lifestyle, documentary, reality, children’s, and music/variety programming. She has executive produced over 1500 hours of broadcast television in studio and on location, including the Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker and a 10-year run on Emeril Live.
Karen has created a variety of programming concepts as well as broadened the reach of existing series in order to breathe new life into them and increase their longevity. She has a full understanding of the need for strong internal communication within networks to advance the cause of both the projects she’s working on as well as the needs of those networks. One of her key strengths is her ability to balance her passion as a project advocate with the need to be a team player. She has taken her projects across multi-platforms to maximize exposure working with web designers, programmers and press.
Her business acumen has enabled her to manage multi-million dollar projects efficiently and economically without compromising creative. She is a strategic thinker with the capacity to assess the big picture as well as manage the small details. Her work has taken her from Hoboken to Europe as well as Asia to form co-producing partnerships and creative cross-cultural concepts.
DANIEL SHKLAIR is a 29-year veteran in the music business. Well known for his underscoring for film and television, he has created music for numerous clients and networks. His music can be heard worldwide on a daily basis in a variety of programs and venues. In addition to his composing work, he is an accomplished producer and arranger, as well as a skilled sound designer and audio mixer.
